Yeah, its much better.

I might fit a car radio in it at some point, just need to find a good early cassette radio.... need to find two, as the one in the beetle has decided to not play tapes anymore.

Camping this weekend at a classic car show, so I get to use the new light! BigGrin

New car, new username. BigGrin

I sold the beetle in October last year. It needed a new gearbox which I couldn't afford. Two months after I sold it the engine blew a piston! Lucky escape for me, not so lucky for the guy that bought it.

I now have a 1990 MK2 Polo 1.3. It tows the trailer excellently.

Last month I did my first camping trip of the year. I went to a VW show in Ninove, Belgium.

I have a new project for the trailer. I have started to make a cabinet which will stand on top of the storage box. I will add photos as I go along.

To stand here. It will be 1 metre high, 55cm wide and 24cm deep, enough to fit under the table when the trailer is folded down.

I also bought a retro gas heater.

Here is the cabinet I made. It is designed to fit in between the benches and under the table when in transit. To stop the cabinet falling over when in use, it has dowels in the bottom of the side panels which slot into holes on the box below. I should have taken better photos but forgot. Behind the cabinet door is a shelf.

Next time I pop the trailer open I shall take some better photos.

I am trailer tentless. The Paradiso was sold a few months ago. We now have a baby, so the 2 berth trailer is to small for us. I am now searching for a 3 berth Paradiso. Once I have bought one I shall post up photos. :D
