A good wheel clamp would be something like a BULLDOG TRAILCLAMP TC200

The type of hitchlock to fit whilst the TT is attached to a security post would be a SAS ORIGINAL HITCHLOCK

As you live in the Oxfordshire area I would be inclined to give Black Country Caravans a ring to ensure you get the correct security as they sell wheel clamps etc and also TT`s and are very knowledgeable and helpful 01384 636465

polefisher if you`re still after a hitch lock then Halfords have a bulldog mini lock reduced to £20.

I have seen on another site a question about using a hitch lock whilst towing and whilst at a service station. I thought I would share my response with all members here, which was:

Personally I would not leave a hitch lock on whilst travelling because if you were involved in an accident and the emergency services needed to separate whatever is being towed from the vehicle quickly then they most likely wouldn`t be able to.....as I say just a personal view.

We use a hitch lock whilst on site and whilst stored in the garage. We never leave our unit unattended at service stations.

Hope it helps and apologies if your thought were the same.
